About Path To Potential Tutoring

Path To Potential Tutoring was founded by Michael Alexandridis, a qualified teacher with over 13 years of experience in education, including 8 years of tutoring experience, across the UK and internationally.

Michael holds a BA (Hons), PGCE and NPQH and has worked in both state and private schools. Throughout his career, he has supported children and young people with a wide range of academic needs, learning profiles and levels of confidence.

His experience includes teaching across the primary age range, supporting secondary-aged learners, working with pupils with SEND and providing personalised tuition and educational support for children and young people who may require a different approach to accessing learning.

Michael leads Path To Potential Tutoring and has overall responsibility for the quality, safeguarding and development of the service.

Our Mission

At Path To Potential Tutoring, our mission is simple: to help every learner recognise their potential and develop the confidence to achieve it.

We believe that effective education should never be one-size-fits-all. Every learner brings different strengths, needs, challenges and experiences and our approach is therefore adapted to the individual.

We combine high-quality teaching, clear educational goals and personalised support. Where appropriate, sessions may also incorporate practical activities, games, technology, a learner’s interests or alternative teaching methods to improve accessibility and engagement.

Whether a learner needs support to close gaps in Maths or English, prepare for SATs or GCSEs, rebuild confidence, access education through EOTAS or receive additional support through their school, our focus remains on meaningful progress and positive educational outcomes.

We also work with schools, local authorities and other commissioners to provide individualised tuition and alternative provision for children and young people who require additional or alternative educational support.

Our Tutoring Team

As Path To Potential Tutoring has grown, so has our team.

Michael works alongside a team of carefully selected tutors, enabling us to support more children and young people while maintaining the individualised approach on which the service was founded.

Tutors are matched carefully to each learner based on their experience, subject knowledge, teaching approach and the learner’s individual needs. We recognise that the relationship between tutor and learner is particularly important when supporting children and young people with SEND, anxiety, low confidence or previous negative experiences of education.

All tutors are expected to work in accordance with the professional standards, safeguarding procedures and expectations of Path To Potential Tutoring, while bringing their own experience, strengths and specialist knowledge to their work.
